Lobster Tacos Cause Illness - Ola Mexican Kitchen, Huntington Beach California

6 years ago reported by user-zcdz6677 business

Ola Mexican Kitchen, Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, CA, USA

21040 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, 92648 California, United States

On July 16th around 3:30pm, I had lunch with 2 other girlfriends who also experience some weird symptoms by the evening. I had their Lobster tacos and didn't noticed anything strange right away because I was so freaking hungry but by the later evening my stomach was upside down. I had hot and cold flashes, a horrible massive headache, no appetite but when I tried to snack on something, I would literally start to sweat and get this uncontrollable pain and rumbling in my stomach again. By 3am, I couldn't take it anymore and just thought I had caught the flu but then I started to vomit. It was food poisoning! Yesterday the worst was over but my stomach and nausea still stuck around which made everything really difficult to manage. I had to go to work feeling sick and also care for my toddler... it is not cool when restaurants are not aware of these kinds of situation. I hope this doesn't happen again for a restaurant that's consider on the higher end in prices and this is called a fine dining experiencing? No bueno. | Symptoms: Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Sweating, Loss of Appetite
