“Wife and I ate salad and chicken Alfredo and my wife started getting sick two hours after. She was super sick to her stomach at first we thought that the sauce was just too rich. “Within hours of eating shrimp scampi last night I began to experience abdominal bloating and painful cramping. I became nauseous and got those cold sweats and was short of breath. These symptoms have continued throughout the night into the morning despite over the counter anti gas and anti nausea me... dicine. My stomach is so bloated and uncomfortable, I can hardly catch my breath. I legitimately cannot take a full breath without experiencing abdominal discomfort. I'm so disappointed. “My little brother (13) and I (17) did not get sick from the food however the rest of my family did. My mom, my dad, my older brother and his girlfriend all had symptoms of diarrhea, nausea, chills, and were very close to vomiting but took some pills to avoid it. I am not quite sure what dish it was... specifically that made them sick but all I know is that it was here that was to blame. After having our first lunch of the day there, they didn’t eat anything else because of how sick they felt. ”

“Me and my cousin went to this Resturant around 1PM Saturday Oct 3. I ordered wings she ordered the chilaquiles. That is all we ate that day. Around 4:30am Sunday morning I woke up and had the runs. went back to sleep almost 1 hr later only to wake up around 6 to go bathroom again. back to sleep I go... and my last episode was around 11am. “Half an hour later after eating Atlantic salmon, I had to use the toilet, I mean it was an emergency, worst case scenario that I was on motorcycle, I had to rush myself back home cause no gas station will allow me to use their bathrooms due to covid.

“Husband is too sick to type. We ate all the same stuff except he had a chobani peaches and cream greek yogurt. I did not. The onset of his sickness started fifteen to twenty minutes after eating it. He said his stomach really hurt and has been up all night throwing up and having stomach pain. ”

Public Health Alert for Taylor Farms Ready-To-Eat Meat and Poultry Products due to possible Foreign Matter Contamination

“The FSIS is issuing a public health alert for ready-to-eat (RTE) meat and poultry bowl products due to concerns that the products may be contaminated with extraneous material, specifically glass. FSIS is issuing this public health alert to ensure that consumers are aware that these products should n... ot be consumed. A recall was not requested because it is believed that the products are no longer available for consumers to purchase.
The ready-to-eat meat and poultry items for this public health alert were produced by Taylor Farms in Dallas, Texas on Oct 5 and Oct 6, 2020. The following product subject to the public health alert are:
- 10-oz. plastic bowl package containing “MEAL SIMPLE SPAGHETTI SQUASH AND ALFREDO WITH CHICKEN” with lot code TFD279AU23 and best by 10/15/2020; or lot code TFD280AU23 and best by 10/16/2020.
- 10-oz. plastic bowl package containing “MEAL SIMPLE SPAGHETTI SQUASH WITH CHICKEN & PESTO” with lot code TFD279AU23 and best by 10/13/20; or lot code TDF280AU23 and best by 10/14/2020.
- 10-oz. plastic bowl package containing “MEAL SIMPLE SPAGHETTI SQUASH AND PEPPERONI” with lot code TDF279AU23 and best by 10/15/2020; or lot code TDF280AU23 and best by 10/16/2020.
- 11-oz. plastic bowl package containing “MEAL SIMPLE SPAGHETTI SQUASH AND MEATBALLS” with lot code TFD279AU23 and best by 10/13/2020; or lot code TFD280AU23 and best by 10/14/2020.
The products bear establishment number “P-34733” or “EST. 34733” within the USDA mark of inspection. The products were shipped to retail locations in San Antonio and Houston, Texas. The problem was discovered when a Taylor Farms employee discovered pieces of glass in product during production.
FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ refrigerators. Anyone concerned about an illness should contact a health care provider. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

“We received frozen chicken thighs in our order that arrived around October 9, 2020. The thighs met required temperature when cooked. We cooked as soon as thighs thawed in the fridge. My boyfriend ate the thighs and I ate chicken breast. Boyfriend has had terrible food poisoning for several days. He... has not been out in public in weeks to catch a virus. He said the chicken didn't sit right pretty quickly after eating and hours later has been terribly sick since. One person got very sick with diahrreah and vomiting and chills within 6 hours of eating chicken thighs. The chicken thighs were cooked to temp once thawed in fridge. The person ill said they had a strange odor after cooked but thought it was part of the cooking process. Onset was 48 hours prior to now. Ill person struggles to keep down liquids still with GI distress. ”
