Food Safety Report - Panera Bread, Buffalo New York

3701 McKinley Parkway, Buffalo, 14219 New York, United States
I ate at this restaurant on Tuesday, 06/27, Friday, 06/30 and Monday, 07/03. (Hey - the husband was out of town and I didn't feel like making lunches!)It takes four or five days for you to experience symptoms so, on Monday, it began with a fever of 102.4, chills, and diarrhea.
Following from that, was the worst assault on my body that I have ever experienced including, but not limited to, chronic diarrhea, hospital visits, CT scans and a host of embarrassing and humiliating tests.
This was reported to the county health department and, ultimately, the NYS department of health.
Panera REFUSES to admit culpability or apologize. They have said that they won't pay for my hospital bills yet I never asked them to do so. I find that incredibly insulting.... well that and the fact that they offered me a gift card! As if.
I called the restaurant where I got sick, their customer service line (where I dealt with the rudest individual I've ever encountered) and was ultimately handed off to my permanent contact who could give less of a crap (pun intended) about me or my illness.
Well... we'll see. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Chills
