I visited this resort from 4/16/19-4/23/19. My second night there I had the seared tuna from Rare, their steakhouse. I had horrible symptoms of severe diarrhea that lasted for 3 weeks. It ruined my trip and I missed a week of work when I got home. It was so bad that I was afraid I would end up in the hospital. I took the medication metronidazole and that didn't sufficiently solve the problem so I also took some natural remedies that did work. My friend also got sick but not nearly as sick as I did. She didn't have the tuna. I'm assuming that was the problem but I don't really know for sure. I don't think I will be going back to the Dominican Republic ever again. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea
