Food Safety Report: Pizza Hut.
13 years ago •reported by user-vnzkk259
I ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut at about 104th-ish and Pacific Avenue in Tacoma, Washington. I waited for them to cook it, took it straight home (3 minute drive), ate a piece, which I thought tasted a little funny (but given I had not eaten Pizza Hut in more than 6 years, I wasn't sure) and within 30-45 minutes, started feeling really ill. My body started to ache really bad, mostly my back, arms and neck. Then I started shaking uncontrollably, to the point my teeth were chattering super loud, like I had gone into shock. I sweated under blankets while sitting in front of my heater, yet still felt frozen. My balance went wonky, and I had to crawl to spare myself from falling. About an hour into it, I barfed violently, followed by another barfing episode about 20 minutes later. When I finally felt well enough to hold a thermometer in my mouth, it said my temp was 101.1, then dropped to 100.2 for a good few hours, then back to normal the next morning.
The temp is what made me first think it wasn't food poisoning, but the flu instead. The fact I was all better the next day, leads me to believe it was food poisoning. | Symptoms: Fever, Nausea, Vomiting
