Hi, I am a truck driver. Yesterday for lunch I went to the truck stop closest to my delivery. I purchased a 4 piece meal from the Popeyes inside of the Travels Center of America. The worker told me to wait while my chicken was prepared. He said it had 3 more minutes left on the cooking. Once received I went back to my truck and pulled off. I begin to eat the drumstick as I drove to my next pick up but instantly noticed that something was off. It wasn’t as crunchy as it usually would be at any other Popeyes I have purchased from in the past. But as I continued to eat that drumstick the inside tasted funny but it was piping hot because it just came out of the grease and the inside tasted funny. So I stopped eating it and I still have the other three pieces of chicken and the sides. He told me to stop eating it. Maybe about two hours later I got a migraine that I still have as I type this out to you after midnight as I parked for the night for my ten hour break. I have literally been vomiting and diarrhea all night with most horrible headache I have ever experienced. It’s causing my vision to be blurry, I have a shift I have work today and I really can’t even move. I feel I do need some medical attention. It’s truly not fair that we truck drivers can’t even trust the food out here. This is painful, unhealthy, dangerous and inconveniencing. They are serving undercooked chicken. I’m noticing blood in my vomit and I didn’t take a picture of my stool it was so disgusting. Something needs to be done. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Chills, Headache, Migraine, Blurry vision
