Nuggets Trigger Severe Illness - Prien Lake Road, Lake Charles Louisiana

9 years ago reported by user-whjy2893

Prien Lake Road, Lake Charles, LA, United States

3299 General Pershing Drive, Lake Charles, 70615 Louisiana, United States

It's been a whole year since I have eaten McDonald's Chicken Nuggets and I still cannot even look at one without remembering the worst night of my life. I did not eat anything else from earlier that day. Me and my boyfriend went to McDonald's and I ordered a 10 pc. chicken mcnuggets with a side of honey bbq. We ate and went home and after about an hour or so my stomach started to hurt, but I overlooked it. As the hours passed, my stomach pain grew and grew and it started to hurt really badly. When I used the bathroom, my stool looked almost like tar. I knew I was sick when my whole body just felt like it was shutting down and my stomach pain grew and turned into vomiting. First, I vomited the left over chicken nuggets and then dry heaved for about 3 hours. I drew a 102 fever and couldn't eat or even drink water without throwing up. Finally, I had to go to a charity hospital because I was in college and couldn't afford a good doctor and they pumped me with fluid to keep me hydrated and they said I had severe dehydration. I don't know if I can ever eat at McDonalds again after I experienced that. It went over into the next day and I just felt terrible. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Vomiting, Dehydration, Stomach Pain
