Chicken Pad See Ew Illness - Railay Beach Cafe Ao Nang, Ao Nang Krabi

10 months ago reported by user-zdqv4651 business

Railay Beach Cafe Ao Nang, Mueang Krabi District, Krabi, Thailand

Ao Nang, 81000 Krabi, Thailand

Yesterday I had lunch (chicken pad see ew) at Railay Beach Cafe and have developed severe food poisoning around 8pm last night. Obviously I can’t say for sure but I am highly suspicious this is where it has come from as I didn’t eat anything else that day or the night before. I have read online about 4-5 similar cases of food poisoning from this restaurant. I cannot be certain but I am very suspicious this is where it is from | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Headache

Their Google reviews mention no toilet and no handwashing. The owner says employees must pay to use the public restroom. Sounds like hands aren't being washed as often as they should. :(

I got it there from a crushed ice cocktail at the beach… the local nurse said they are using tap water for doing ice
