On 7 January, I experienced a severe food poisoning incident. At approximately 3:00 PM, I had my first meal of the day at Rich Kopitiam. The meal consisted of wanton curry mee and iced teh tarik. At the time of consumption, both the food and drinks appeared normal. There were no visible signs of spoilage, unusual smell, or taste.At around 7:30 PM, I began to feel extremely unwell. I experienced intense nausea and severe stomach pain. While I was at a cinema in Mid Valley, my condition worsened rapidly. I had to make multiple urgent trips to the toilet, suffering from continuous vomiting and diarrhea simultaneously.
My physical condition deteriorated quickly. I became extremely weak and dizzy, to the point where I was unable to stand or walk on my own. I ended up being stuck in the toilet, as my body had no strength left. Eventually, assistance was required, and a wheelchair was brought to transport me, as I could not move independently.
Fortunately, there was a clinic within Mid Valley, and I was able to receive medical attention. The entire incident was extremely distressing and disruptive, turning the day into a terrible and traumatic experience for me.
