Waterpark H2O Suspected Issue - Six Flags New England, Agawam Massachusetts

6 months ago reported by user-fhzt9737 business

Six Flags New England, Main Street, Agawam, MA, USA

1623 Main Street, Agawam, 01001 Massachusetts, United States

After visiting Six Flags New England's waterpark, my autistic daughter, who often drinks water from the park due to sensory needs, experienced severe stomach pain, watery diarrhea, and weakness 24 hours later. This is unusual for her, as she's been to the waterpark before and drank water without issues. Given her history and our family's home-cooked meals during the visit, I suspect the water quality might have been compromised this time. What's also concerning is that the chairs in the waterpark were unusually empty, especially in the sand area about 85% was empty, which seemed out of the ordinary. I'm wondering if there might be a stomach bug going around in Massachusetts that we're not aware of. The symptoms are impacting her daily routine, including missing occupational therapy. The rest of the family remained unaffected. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Weakness

I drink the water from the rides in this park almost every weekend and I’ve never gotten sick.
