Severe Infection from Pie - Sprouts Farmers Market, Germantown Tennessee

4 months ago reported by user-fkpxc361 business

Sprouts Farmers Market, Village Shops Drive, Germantown, TN, USA

3150 Village Shops Drive, Germantown, 38138 Tennessee, United States

Small Apple pie I purchased on June 12, 2024. I was violently ill with food poisoning on June 16. After the initial bout of high fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc., the diarrhea continued. I went to the doctor and with CT scan they also saw severe infection in my colon for which they gave me antibioitics. However, the severe diarrhea did not stop. I went back for further testing and they tested for H-Pilory - and it came back positive. - and that infection is very hard to treat. Now I have to take 3 antibiotics for 2 weeks, on top of the diarrhea i already continue to have for over 3 weeks now. This incident needs to be looked into. I have noticed their food out in the opened with inadequate refrigeration. The breads that should be in the freezer because they have seeds like the EZEQUIEL variety should be in the freezer and not out in the open. I have bought several Ezequiel breads there that I bring home and are molded. Please investigate conditions in this store. They have nice product that I am interested in buying, but unfortunately after this incident they have lost me, the client. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps
