Food Safety Report: Starbucks, Shaver Road, Portage, MI, USA

4 days ago reported by user-yryjt922 business

Starbucks, Shaver Road, Portage, MI, USA

8980 Shaver Road, Portage, 49024 Michigan, United States

Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Nausea, Fever, Stomach Pain, Chills, Headache, other: Sore throat
Suspected source: Refresher drink
Onset: Right away
Duration: 4 to 12 hours
Sick: other: I got a headache from sipping drink
Additional information: This drink has made other individuals sick. My 11 yr old daughter ordered a dragonfruit mango lemonade refresher about hr to 90 mins later she had a severe headache come on, and sore throat followed with stomach pains, nausea, chills and she also felt so cold but her body was radiating heat off of her. I gave her 200 mg of ibuprofen while We were out running errands and it came on so fast. By the time I got her back home she had 101.9 f High fever ( mouth thermometer) and confirmed it with an ear thermometer as well both were reading the same. My daughter has never had anything come on this fast as it did. The only thing I know of that could have made her sick as she was and consumed is that refresher drink, no symptoms prior to either. Forward to almost 5 hrs later and I’ve given her 200mg of Tylenol as well her Temperature now is 100.1 f has lowered dramatically. Beware of this drink looks like quite a few people have posted complaints as well on here. | Symptoms: Nausea, Fever, Stomach Pain, Chills, Headache, Sore Throat
