Chemical burning sensation of tounge and mouth which left a long lasting unnatural taste and tingling sensating in mouth along with long unquenchable dry mouth.

I am aware that some of the anti-virus / anti-bacterial chemicals cause a burning sensation on the tougue and mucous membranes. Could this be a case of chemical contamination?
