Chinese takeout, most likely wonton soup This Chinese takeout place has been one of my family's go to places for quite some time and it pains me to say the following. I ordered wonton soup and two entrees to split with another family member and we noticed the wonton soup tasted sour, but didn't really think anything about it right away. We didn't really finish our entrees, and after we were done eating my other family member called to inform the place that the soup was sour, and they tried accommodating for us, which was nice, by offering to send over some other food (maybe they knew about the soup or not, I'm not sure) but we declined. Fast forward about 5 or so hours later, my other family member had extremely bad gastric pains and diarrhea, but I just thought maybe the food was too rich or something so I implored her to just relax and drink some water and try going to bed. I too went to bed perfectly fine, and then I woke up 5 hours later feeling fine, but sensed something was wrong. I finally went back to sleep, and woke up again 5 hours later feeling HORRIBLE. I had vision problems, severe joint pains, weakness and fatigue, profusely sweating. I couldn't even get up for about two hours, and I thought taking a shower would help me and I finally gained enough strength to go take one and just sat there, lifeless, with a pounding headache. I felt like I was going to faint and I had horrible double vision, and laboredly struggled to make it back to bed still wet and whatnot. My other family member who I shared the dinner with told me she was having dysphoric hallucinations of some sort, and suffered more gastric symptoms then I. I do not believe I have ever been poisoned by food before, let alone a regular place I go to, but what I had experienced was EXTREMELY HORRIBLE. I do not wish it on my worst enemy. I honestly felt as if I were wasting away. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Headache, Weakness, Fatigue, Sweating, Vision Problem, Joint Pain, Gas
