1 person had — diarrhea, nausea and vomiting
More incidents from:
“I ordered beef and broccoli teriyaki chicken and the vegetable rice online, Wednesday July 29th. Not even a half an hour after eating “some” of it.... I was sick. I had terrible stomach pains, my mouth was watering and I had diarrhea. Today is August 1st and I’m still nauseous... and running to the bathroom off and in but I think I’m doing better since I haven’t had stomach pains today. ”
“Twice I’ve been sick hours after eating an impossible burger. Got put off for a couple of months, had one today and sick again in the exact same way. Nausea, feverish and diarrhoea...
Never eating there again 🤢 ”
“I think it was the large marie callenders beef pot pie. Its the only thing that my daughter and i both ate, we split it, and now we both have diarrhea, serious case of it, queasy, just not feeling too well at all... My son is fine though. Nothing wrong... with him, and he didn't want any of the pot pie either I had a marie calllenders large beef pot pie that i fixed for myself for dinner because my kids got something else. My daughter though, is a good eater. And she likes to try everything so i split it with her. That was yesterday evening. About an hour or maybe a little longer passed and i had to go to the bathroom. And have been doing it off and on all night, like so bad i had to get my kid off the toilet so i could go. And she didn't want to get off the toilet yet either. It was just my daughter and i that got sick. ”
“My boyfriend purchased Kraft Cheese singles. On August 12th, he made us both grilled cheese. With in half an hour we both started vomiting, experiencing diarrhea,
sweating along with the chills. The only thing we ate that day was grilled cheese. This was right after the week long power outage.... Which means they most likely didn't discard all the spoiled food. There is also an employee at the store that doesn't wear a mask. I am very disappointed with this location. We are still very sick. We both have a fever. ”
“Got diarrhea after eating sukhi’s chicken tika masla, that’s the second time, i haven’t eat anything else beside it. ”
“Fifth Third Bank sponsored a “get together” event for their loyal customers before the University of Cincinnati vs. Temple University basketball game on March 7, 2020 at the Fifth Third Arena on the campus of the University of Cincinnati. Fifth Third Bank had this event catered from an outside vendor,... which included the following food items: chicken fingers, BBQ meatballs in sauce, and soft pretzels with cheese sauce, nachos, popcorn, cookies, and dipping sauces. After eating at this “get together” event, I became sick during the basketball game and I was running back and forth from my seat to the bathroom while throwing up in the bathroom each time. Finally, I decided to leave the Fifth Third Arena because I was so sick and I could no longer watch the game. Also, on the drive home, I had to stop to the side of the road and throw up on the pavement.
I spent $200 per ticket for the Basketball game, which was ruined because of the food poisoning I incurred after eating the food at the catered event sponsored by Fifth Third Bank.
After contacting Fifth Third Bank, my wife was told that someone would be looking into this matter immediately. However, the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the Cincinnati area and all employees of Fifth Third Bank went on lockdown.
I then contacted the Cincinnati Public Health Department about this incident and they then confirmed following an inspection at the site that there were dirty dishes found with the Caterer of the event for Fifth Third Bank.
Since Fifth Third Bank sponsored this “get together” event and hired the Caterer, they should be held accountable for my husband’s food poisoning. Not only was my husband spared after recovering a in a few days, he could have died if he had eaten more than his original plate of food.
Hence, I would like Fifth Third Bank to honor their original promise and afford us $400 for the basketball tickets we purchased for the game which we couldn’t see because of my husband’s food poisoning.
If this matter is not resolved by Fifth Third Bank, I will lodge a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General as well as the Cincinnati Public Health Department so that Fifth Third will be prohibited for hosting any future events involving the provision of food to the general public. As well, I will seek punishment of the Fifth Third staff members who sponsored and setup the event with their assigned Caterer.
After spending the last 4 months trying to resolve this issue with Fifth Third, I am deeply disappointed in the apathy displayed by Fifth Third staff members, including the bank managers at 2 location in the Mason, Ohio area.
Please therefore have someone contact me at the earliest opportunity so this matter can be resolved once and for at all.
“Have been getting pizzas from here for a few years ... no problem. This time, began experiencing food poisoning-type symptoms about 2 hours after eating some pizza. Explosive diarrhea, sweats, fever, churning stomach with extreme pain and bloating. Symptoms took 4 days to subside. Bedridden, with many trips to toilet... first two days. I know their sales volume is down ... Perhaps keeping food items too long or poor sanitation? Need to find a different pizza place! ”
