“I had a chicken bowl with lettuce, green tomatillo salsa, brown rice, fajita veggies and chips/guacamole. Sickness started less than 24 hours after eating the food. I've had chills, vomiting, diarrhea, horrible cramping and sweats. I'm on day 3 of this and finally feeling better. Had to be the lettuce... that made me sick. I shared the guac with my daughter who is fine. ”

“I thawed 2 Impossible Beef packs from my freezer then moved them to the refrigerator while still partially frozen to continue dethawing. I've only used ground beef or Morning Star frozen crumbles, so I tried to get past the bad odor when I opened the packets to make Shepard's Pie,... a family favorite. It reminded me of the odor of canned cat food. There were white pieces in the mixture and the smell was overwhelming to me, however I'm overly sensitive to odors and tried to dismiss it. I seasoned heavily thinking it was just a new product for us. No. I couldn't eat it. My family and I had diarrhea for the evening, even though we forced down very little. I vomited for days after, but that was probably just because I was so grossed out after cooking the mess. I can't think of it without literally gagging now and I'm not able to eat any meat or meat substitutes without feeling nauseated. This was beginning-mid May, but the product was in my freezer for at least a week. ”
My wife and I ordered the same soup (containing chicken) from this restaurant. A few hours later, we both became sick (nausea, diarrhea).
Our first instinct was to notify the restaurant, to make them aware of the possible contamination. We were seeking no refund, nor credit. Just to... provide a heads-up that they may had to check their stock or cooking surfaces, etc.
The manager was completely dismissive towards my wife when she called. He said that his training indicated it was not possible for us to be sick in less than 24hours.
We also notified the Health Authority. ”
