Food Safety Report - Tesco, England

Tesco Jalapeño Houmous, Staffordshire, UK

England, United Kingdom

Tuesday 20th January Tesco Jalapeño Houmous I opened the pot at about 1pm and had a small amount, and started feeling sick at about 5pm but did not vomit. I didn’t think anything of it at the time. My partner finished the pot (which had been in the fridge after I opened it) at about 6:30pm, and started feeling sick at about 11pm, and then was vomiting all night. All day Wednesday and Thursday we have both been bedridden with severe body pain, chills, headache, and weakness, even me and I hadn’t actually thrown up like my OH so it could only have been caused by whatever contaminated the houmous rather than just dehydration from vomiting. I’ve never experienced anything so bad before. It was part of an online Tesco Grocery delivery from the weekend | Symptoms: Vomiting, Headache, Weakness, Chills, Nausea
