Valley Milk Simply Bottled Raw Goat Milk - recalled due to Campylobacter jejuni

The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) announced the recall and a quarantine order of raw goat milk produced and packaged by Valley Milk Simply Bottled of Stanislaus County because of the presence of the bacteria Campylobacter jejuni. To date, no illnesses have been reported.The recalled product is:
- Valley Milk Simply Bottled Raw Goat Milk, half-gallon (64 oz) plastic jugs with a code date marked on the container of AUG 28 2021.
This recall does not include the farm’s raw cow milk or raw sheep milk.
In case you experience Campylobacter symptoms such as diarrhea (often bloody), fever, nausea, vomiting, and stomach cramps, report it now. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance.
