March 3, 2026 MY daughter and I only shared the arugula salad and we both got sick a few hours later My daughter and I were traveling on vacation and made reservations Tuesday night 3/3 for dinner here. The food, the service the knowledgeable staff were outstanding. My daughter has celiac so the knowledge, accommodation and choices for her was why we chose Vitolo Unfortunately later that night at our hotel we both came down with food poisoning. It was definitely pinpointed to this meal as we hadn't eaten much else. Because she's celiac we only shared the arugula salad as our mains were separate. I did notice the arugula stems were slightly browned but thought nothing of it- the food poisoning was profound, violently sick all night and we lost nearly 2 days of our vacation having to add an additional hotel day and Reschedule our flights home to Boston as we were unable to fly feeling the way we did. I am positive it was from this meal there is no doubt - my daughter and have planned this mom/daughter getaway for months and landed sick in our hotel room | Symptoms: Vomiting, Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain
