That’s the only thing I ate yesterday beware I don’t know what’s going on with those nuggets but beware!!!! It seems allot... of people are having the same reaction. ”
“Fifth Third Bank sponsored a “get together” event for their loyal customers before the University of Cincinnati vs. Temple University basketball game on March 7, 2020 at the Fifth Third Arena on the campus of the University of Cincinnati. Fifth Third Bank had this event catered from an outside vendor,... which included the following food items: chicken fingers, BBQ meatballs in sauce, and soft pretzels with cheese sauce, nachos, popcorn, cookies, and dipping sauces. After eating at this “get together” event, I became sick during the basketball game and I was running back and forth from my seat to the bathroom while throwing up in the bathroom each time. Finally, I decided to leave the Fifth Third Arena because I was so sick and I could no longer watch the game. Also, on the drive home, I had to stop to the side of the road and throw up on the pavement.
I spent $200 per ticket for the Basketball game, which was ruined because of the food poisoning I incurred after eating the food at the catered event sponsored by Fifth Third Bank.
After contacting Fifth Third Bank, my wife was told that someone would be looking into this matter immediately. However, the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the Cincinnati area and all employees of Fifth Third Bank went on lockdown.
I then contacted the Cincinnati Public Health Department about this incident and they then confirmed following an inspection at the site that there were dirty dishes found with the Caterer of the event for Fifth Third Bank.
Since Fifth Third Bank sponsored this “get together” event and hired the Caterer, they should be held accountable for my husband’s food poisoning. Not only was my husband spared after recovering a in a few days, he could have died if he had eaten more than his original plate of food.
Hence, I would like Fifth Third Bank to honor their original promise and afford us $400 for the basketball tickets we purchased for the game which we couldn’t see because of my husband’s food poisoning.
If this matter is not resolved by Fifth Third Bank, I will lodge a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General as well as the Cincinnati Public Health Department so that Fifth Third will be prohibited for hosting any future events involving the provision of food to the general public. As well, I will seek punishment of the Fifth Third staff members who sponsored and setup the event with their assigned Caterer.
After spending the last 4 months trying to resolve this issue with Fifth Third, I am deeply disappointed in the apathy displayed by Fifth Third staff members, including the bank managers at 2 location in the Mason, Ohio area.
Please therefore have someone contact me at the earliest opportunity so this matter can be resolved once and for at all.
“I tried this on Sunday and woke up Monday around 3 and had to throw up. I figured it was acid reflux which I haven't had since going vegan 2.5 years ago but didn't think much of it. I tried another one today to try and figure out the flavor... profile and about 2 hours later I was short of breath and had to call 911 because I was driving from San Jose to Sacramento.
They checked me out at my car and wanted to take me to the er. I didn't want to leave my car and had was starting to feel better and said I would drive myself less than 5 miles to the er. In less than 10 minutes of leaving I started hyperventilating and had to pull over. As I stopped I blacked out, and someone saw and called 911 and the same EMT's came to me and said I was incredibly pale and unresponsive so they had to break the window to get me out. As they sit me up I leaned forward and vomited all over myself. I didn't regain consciousness until I was in the ambulance.
After being admitted they did a lot of tests all came back negative. The dr said that I fainted and that the shortness of breath and fainting could have been cause by food poisoning and of course the vomiting. I have never been so embarrassed, scared and sick in my entire life. I will be addressing this with Starbucks and Impossible because there was no other explanation that the same product made me sick. I'm not allergic to anything either. Stay away from those Impossible Sausages!! ”
“I had terrible stomach cramps I ate 4 donuts and in the middle of the night I had severe cramping. It hurt to touch my stomach. I had the worst diarrhea and vomiting and stayed in my bed and missed Sat. Didn't see the light of day. ”
“I ate there. I ordered a spice sandwich.
Omg the worst cramps like 5 mins after consuming.
I used the bathroom over 5 times within an hour with severe cramps. I just throw up, but the pain is nothing I’ve ever experienced and I gave birth naturally.
Never again . ”
“I ate 3 slices of pizza and then later that night I had marinara sauce with the cheese sticks and I immediately felt hot and clammy. When I woke up my back was hurting I was hot and cold my stomach was boiling and I puked 3 times and I... feel like crap. I never throw up so I know it was the marinara sauce which was probably expired. ”
“Chicken from there I’ve went there for my birthday with friends and had garlic chicken with fries, within 2 hours of being back home I had horrible stomach cramps and diarrhoea. I’ve been in toilet 5 times already and keep running there every 10-15min, my friend had the same meal... will check with her how she is as it’s 2pm at the moment. Never going back there again I feel horrible, they’ve ruined my birthday, can’t even go to sleep as I can’t stop running to the toilet to p*** and my stomach hurts so bad :( ”
“Ordered a nice big t bone steak with a lobster tail with a side of Mac and cheese and broccoli I think the culprit was the Steak I got medium rare and it was pretty rare let me tell u but I trusted the cook while I was eating it... I got nauseous and stopped eating it within an hour I was having diarrhea and vomiting days later I started to have severe abdominal pain a long with a headache it’s been about two weeks and I’m still not feeling completely better yet ”
“Disgusting! I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich yesterday(july 24, 2020) got home ate half of this sandwich, at the time I was hungry I wasn't even thinking about my food being raw, I trust them enough to know that their food was made fresh, and apparently they showed me how... ”fresh” it could be. Went back to the store to speak to the manager and showed her the sandwich, no apologies no nothing got a refund for the food. I had the worst stomach ach of my life!!! Got up throwing up, I fell like I was about to die!!! When I say that the chicken was raw it was raw. I could just imagine how many people who ordered the same thing that day, that could have ate uncooked food and didn't even check. My fiance called the district to report the issue and they said that they'll call back and never did. ”
