Suspected food poisoning. Christmas Eve my husband and I ran out to Zaxby’s for dinner/lunch. We each got a lunch item and I got a salad for us to share later. I felt fine with the other meals but after eating about a quarter of the salad later that evening, I knew something wasn’t quite right. Took some medicine, went to sleep, then woke up 8 hrs later with intense nausea and vomiting, and diarrhea. Chills started not long after the other symptoms presented. Feeling much improved 24 hrs later which leads me to believe it was most certainly food poisoning. I was able to keep hydrated on my own, thankfully.Symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, chills.
Suspected source: Zaxby’s food/The Cobb Zalad.
Onset: 30 min to 8 hrs
Duration: 12-24 hrs | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Chills
