“Eating from a restaurant. We went there for a meal. My hubby ordered a chicken and shrimp dish with fried rice. The chicken and shrimp was cooked at the table. When I tasted his dish the chicken tasted rotten. He thought it was just bland. He ate his meal. That... night he had a loose tummy several times and vomiting. ”
“Chicken Salad Within an hour of eating a small chicken salad sandwich, symptoms started. I assumed I was just not feeling well so I didn’t think anymore about it. Symptoms subsided within 4-5 hours. I have been well all day but again had a small chicken salad sandwich for dinner... tonight. Same symptoms within 1-1/12 hours after eating. I’ve thrown out the product. ”
“Our family had dinner there yesterday. I had a double double. My husband and our older son ate cheese burgers. Our little one had fries only. Our big kid had 99 degree fever and threw up three times this morning. His teacher told us later that there are two more... kids in his class had same symptoms after he left school. Not sure if its contagious. My husband threw up once tonight and had diarrhea as well. My little one threw up during the midnight. He just return to sleep. Hopefully they will be fine tomorrow. ”
“Eating pizza there Had our daughters bday there in January 11. Got the birthday party that came with 3 pizzas and drinks. First the drinks had a funny taste to it so I had them switch them out and it still had the same taste so we just left it... alone. My son started having stomach pains After eating the pizza but he didn’t think much of it. Later that day me and my daughter started feeling sick. Then I started getting calls from the people that at the pizza at the party complaining of stomach pains, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. So I tried to contact the restaurant to notify them of the situation. I emailed them 3 times and never heard anything from them. So I tried looking up their corporate number so that I could contact them but couldn’t find any number or info. We noticed stomach pains an hour- 2 hours after eating the pizza. It happened to everyone that ate the pizza. I tried contacting them but got no response. ”

“February 1, 2020, at 1:47 PM. I purchased 3 Haagen Daz ice creams, 14 oz size, assorted flavors, at this store. The first one was consumed immediately, the same day. It appeared to be OK. The second one was consumed later that evening. The second one seemed to be OK,... but as I got closer to the bottom, it was obvious it had not been refrigerated properly. The bottom had melted and then refrozen, before I bought it. Ck'd my freezer, the thermometer showed a temp of minus 5 degrees F.
Developed nausea a few hours later that night, then extreme fatigue for the better part of a week, Notified the store manager, of the refrozen ice cream and asked him to ck with his vendor to try to prevent future occurrences. He sent me an email a few days later indicating he wanted to discuss it with me. Saw him Feb 7th, Thursday, at the store. I told him I wanted to discuss it as well but was in a hurry, would do it later when it was mutually convenient. He, not to be put off, followed me down the back stairs and started an apparently prepared speech. YOU ARE MAKING A LOT OF COMPLAINTS. IT SEEMS WE CAN'T PLEASE YOU. NO ONE HAS EVER COMPLAINED BEFORE. He even quoted the ice cream vendor, who was not present, as saying, he, the vendor had never a complaint about melted ice cream, he repeated his speech several more times with the additional filip that, "YOU WOULD BE HAPPIER GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE.”
As background, the store freezer, full of ice cream, had malfunctioned a short time before that. Many pints of ice cream had melted but were refrozen when the freezer came back on. I mentioned to him, at the time, those ice creams should be disposed of. The vendor or he may have been putting a few pints of refrozen, spoiled, ice cream back in the freezer in an attempt to minimize the dollar loss.
Whatever the cause, spoiled ice cream should not be sold. Telling customers to go somewhere else is not an effective way of dealing with concerns about spoiled products. They and the Health Department need to take the necessary steps to prevent future occurrences.
