I bought a few boxes of Vita Coco Coconut Water, Pure Organic | Refreshing Coconut Taste | Natural Electrolytes | Vital Nutrients | 11.1 Oz (Pack Of 12) on amazon.com on the last week of Jun 2021.

I developed a diarrhea within 1 to 2 hours. As it happened over a few days and I was removing food items including a magnesium supplement I had added a few days prior then it took me a few days to pin point exactly what the issue was. I poured the contents of one pouch onto a cup and I could see that the liquid color was not as transparent as most coconut waters I have used.
I openned another box which has a different expiration date by a few days and confirmed that the liquid color was not clear as a pure coconut water is supposed to look like on all bottles in both boxes. I even went to a store and purchased the same product with a similar expiration date of Feb 2022 and it was completely different. The liquid was much more transparent as expected for coconut water and it tasted much fresher. The product at the store was stored in a refrigerated section, while the ones shippedby amazon are not for sure. I informed amazon about this issue and they reimbursed the cost for all boxes no questions asked 1 week later. I suspect that due to the high temperatures in shipping and possibly storage fresh products like this can age much faster and go bad much before the "expiration" date. Amazon should have all similar boxes held in the storage facility checked out and refrain from selling products like this if reasonable ambient temperatures cannot be maintained in storage and/or shipping.
