Over 90 E. coli cases have been associated with an event at Rockwood Summit High School.
As of noon on Monday 18th, the St. Louis County Health Department reported 94 cases. While some have been confirmed, others exhibit symptoms consistent with the illness and connections to confirmed cases.

The outbreak is linked to Rockwood Summit High School and an off-campus event attended by the victims. The outbreak was discovered when multiple students and parents reported symptoms consistent with E. coli infection, prompting an investigation by health officials.

The Department of Health confirmed that the individuals fell ill after attending a specific event, although the details of the event have not been publicly disclosed. Among the 19 patients, some have been laboratory-confirmed for E. coli O157:H7, while others are still awaiting test results.
