Norovirus Outbreak linked to Cincinnati's School for the Creative and Performing Arts

3 years ago source cincinnati.com business

108 West Central Parkway, Cincinnati, 45202 Ohio, United States

Cincinnati's School for the Creative and Performing Arts reported nearly 300 cases of norovirus last week. The School was closed on Friday, April 22, 2022, due to the Norovirus outbreak for a deep clean of the building.

The illness at the nearly 1,400 student school was not linked to the cafeteria according to Principal Michael Owens. The institution advises to students who develop norovirus symptoms like vomiting or diarrhea should remain at home for a minimum of 48 hours.

In case you experience vomiting, diarrhea, and nausea, report it now. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance.
