Norovirus Outbreak linked to Waukesha North High School

3 years ago source prestigiousscholarships.com business

2222 Michigan Avenue, Waukesha, 53189 Wisconsin, United States

The Waukesha County Health Department is investigating a Norovirus outbreak linked to Waukesha North High School, they have not identified a potential source or cause of the illness.

Some Waukesha North High School students become ill after attending prom on April 9 at the Brookfield Conference Center. The Health Department has said one of the ill attendees has norovirus. According to a letter from Waukesha North principal Kristin Higgins, the school's administration received more than a dozen reports of students experiencing gastrointestinal issues such as vomiting and diarrhea following prom.

In case you are experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, body aches, and chills symptoms, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance.

It is true isopropyl based hand sanitizer does not kill Norovirus. Maybe better than soap for physical removal off the hands is dilute dish detergent, which is "clean rinsing", oil based soap leave a film that can contain particles. Hello Class of '80.
