For the Salmonella Oranienburg outbreak (ref #1316), the FDA has initiated traceback efforts as part of the ongoing investigation to identify the source of contamination. The outbreak remains linked to a not yet identified product. Additionally, the number of reported illnesses has increased from 18 to 22.
