Got food poisoning/severe diarrhea on first day (Mon 18 May/ morning of 19th) about 9 hrs after having fried pork belly at the restaurant. This was the only food I had so no other likely cause.

The hotel management did not appear to take the case seriously, and offered me an insulting £10 discount at the end of my stay. They also said that they do not usually report such incidents, so I am reporting this to make sure other travellers / health authorities are fully aware.
