I spent the 2nd week of June at the Hard Rock- Punta Cana with my family. We all ate the same snacks/meals, and had the same drinks throughout the beginning of our trip. On June 9, 2019 we had dinner at Ciao (Italian Restaurant) and was the only one who ate the Shrimp Scampi, and became extremely sick the next day. I experienced terrible stomach pains, fever, nausea and body aches for over 48 hours. One June 11, the second day I woke up with these symptoms, I still felt so ill that I went to see the doctor on-site. She offered obviously no care, or service, except for recommending that we go off site for a blood and fecal test. I did not feel comfortable going off-site to a clinic where I know nothing about the type of care that is offered. Luckily, my mother traveled with medications in the case that anyone in the family get sick. These helped me get over the illness, but to me it’s clear that it was food poisoning, and am displeased that it took over two days of my vacation. | Sintomas: Diarreia, Febre, Náusea, Vomitando, Dor no corpo, Dor de estômago
