Breakstone’s Cottage Cheese products are subject to a voluntary recall by Kraft Heinz Foods Company because of the possible presence of red plastic and metal pieces potentially introduced during the production according to the recall notice published by the FDA. No injuries have been reported linked to this recall.FDA advises consumers not to eat these products and return them for an exchange or full refund. The recalled products were distributed to retailers in the U.S. The products are the following:
- Breakstone's 2% Milkfat Lowfat Large Curd Cottage Cheese (16oz). UPC 0 21000 30053 2. Best by Dec102019
- Breakstone's 4% Milkfat Large Curd Cottage Cheese (24oz). UPC 0 21000 12285 1. Best by Dec102019
