The day after (4/24/26) I ate at Minghin (4/23/26) I woke up itchy with a rash on my arms, ears, neck and torso. I have NEVER had a reaction to food like this but I also have not experienced anything else out of the ordinary in recent days except eating some strange things at Minghin. I have eaten at Minghin multiple times before and never had this happen. However someone else was ordering for our table and ordered some things I was unfamiliar with.The most alarming was the deep fried crab and seaweed roll. In the center there seemed to be RAW shrimp. I only took one bite and did not finish the rest. I love shrimp and have never had a reaction to it before, but I've always eaten it cooked. I know it was raw because it was gray and clear and gummy rather than springy. The only other unfamiliar thing I am sure I ate was salt and pepper tofu, but I also am not allergic to tofu or soy. I love asian food and I eat it all the time but have never had such a reaction before in 42 years.
Today is the second day and despite taking Prednisone prescribed by urgent care, the rash has spread and I've also had some itchy throat and itchy inner ear.
