في 9 ديسمبر 2018 الساعة 4:00 مساءً، طلبت الساندويتش الترويجي وخبز الثوم والإيطالية الحارة، بدون إنتاج. في الساعة 6:30 مساءً بدأت أشعر بصداع سيء وبعض الارتباك. بدأت أشعر بالإسهال والغثيان في حوالي الساعة 2 صباحًا، ثم طوال الليل، والصباح. تشنجات المعدة والإرهاق والجفاف من الإسهال
