I had food poisoning after eating at Five Guys in Elk Grove. I believe it was their mushrooms. I even asked the store manager if they reconstituted their mushrooms. They were off and tasted bad. The manager never called me back and neither did the district manager.

(Very sad) It was truly the WORST service ever from start to end. I should have pushed the issue more, but clearly Five Guys didn’t care about me reporting this to them!! Shame on you!!

Today @ 10:45am, I started experiencing extreme stomach pain, ended up vomiting in the bath tub while sitting on the commode with painful nonstop diarrhea, I endured these problems for more than an hour. Acid in my stomach made me taste a metallic taste I instantly took a Benadryl, not thinking anything severe. I visited medical care and was told I now have gerd, chocolate allergy, prescribe epi pens, daily Pepcid and Zyrtec daily until see the allergist. I was seen at two medical clinics and was not prescribed any steroid or anything else. I suffered for months after this, my 3 rd visit to the medical center was disappointed that I was not given any steroids, because I still was having issues since then. Later on I had a Reece’s candy bar and I got an itchy mouth and weird feeling in top of my mouth. So now it be a chocolate allergy period!!

not the first time the Lucky Charms illness has struck. I’ve been suspicious of the cereal’s association to this affect in the past but didn’t feel certain until of the connection until today. I usually eat two bowls of cereal but my primary gotos are FrostedFlakes and FrostedMiniWheats. I eat the lucky charms from my kids’ supply when I don’t have my gotos available. My kids are little and only eat smaller portions. I’m done buying this stuff for them—something is up with the cereal’s ingredients.
