I was in Murpark on May 30 and just picked up a cheeseburger because I was in the mood for it. I ate it right away and realized that it was actually different than usual... it was a bit softer (muddy) but I didn't think anything about... See More it yet. (thought maybe that's the case because it was probably made fresh and was still warm) half an hour later it started. Stomach cramps that were barely tolerable. I felt worse and worse until I was lying in bed in the evening with a temperature of 38 degrees. It made me terribly nauseous. The next day I went straight to the doctor, who then suspected food poisoning, as all the symptoms were there. I was prescribed medication. To this day, I have severe diarrhea and stomach cramps. The HPSC advises health practitioners to be alert to possible Norovirus contamination in vomitus and implement stringent cleaning protocols for affected areas. The public is urged to uphold basic hygiene measures including frequent hand washing with soap and water, avoiding close contact with infected individuals, and disinfecting potentially contaminated objects. The HPSC emphasizes the importance of individuals staying off work or school until at least 48 hours after the symptoms have passed to prevent further transmission of the virus.
Norovirus is very contagious and is easily transmitted from person to person most through the oral/fecal route. Considering that hand sanitizer does NOT work against this virus, it is important to wash your hands with soap frequently. Use bleach to clean and disinfect surfaces.

The recalled product is:
- 16-oz. plastic trays containing “SISTER SISTER GENERAL TSO’S CHICKEN with FRIED RICE” and lot codes 11/07/23, 11/11/23, 11/17/23, 11/18/23, or 11/19/23 represented on the label.
The affected product was produced on various dates between Oct. 27 and Nov. 8, 2023, and bears establishment number “P-754” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The problem was discovered by FSIS inspection personnel during a verification task where they discovered that sesame oil was not included on the label.
FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them.
