Chewy Chicken Causes Illness

Ordered chicken fingers for takeout on Saturday night. I noticed they were kind of chewy, so I did not eat much. Sunday morning I woke up around 3 AM feeling very ill. Had diarrhea, vomiting, chills, muscle aches, and a fever for the next 16 hours.
