But DEFINITELY one of these two mentioned. Mellow mushroom food was catered to us today for lunch in an event, but after eating it, my stomach got gurgly for a few hours. No big deal. HOWEVER, I’m convinced I got food poisoning when I noticed I got stomach cramps since 9:30 PM and took a dump a couple times, and each dump was liquid diarrhea. Have some idea what might be the true cause. Gluten-free pizza crust and bread type products almost always contain xanthan gum which causes some people severe stomach distress and diarrhea. Also some gluten-free stuff has inulin which is another ingredient that causes the same issue. It's possible the vegan cheese might use these ingredients too. Some people are sensitive to it. I had to give up all gluten-free products myself and go back to regular wheat.
