Nausea, Diarrhea, Cramps

I've always been very skeptical about this place, they never really stuck me as the clean type of people.. I've eaten here a few times but they never touched my food ungloved and I would always watch them make it so nothing was cross contaminated. I went... See More in there 12/8/22 and got a Rainforest Rhumba smoothie. It was a new hire as I had never seen her before and didn't want her hands nor wear gloves when making my smoothie. I tried to let it slide because her hands didn't physically come in contact with any of my fruit and didnt cross contaminate anything, only touched the handles of the fruit scoops, but still, it just seems unsanitary to not wear gloves. I took a look at my drink, and gave the benefit of the doubt since her hands didn't physically touch my fruit, or my straw. Big mistake, here I am about 9 hours later, had this smoothie around 12 and I am absolutely dying from stomach cramps and then having waves of diarrhea. I have not vomited but I have come very close. I will never eat there again. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Cramps See Less

See More October 23, 2023 because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.

The Cantaloupes would have reached consumers through retail produce markets which may be located in states other than those listed above.

The Cantaloupes are packaged in cardboard containers bearing the “Malichita” Label (picture attached). The cantaloupes also have an individual PLU sticker placed upon each cantaloupe in the form of the attached picture. As shown in the picture, the PLU sticker has a top half which is white which has the word “Malichita” written in script in black letters. The bottom of the PLU sticker is black and has the number “4050” prominently displayed in white letters together with the words “Product of Mexico/produit du Mexique”. This label will identify individual Malichita cantaloupes purchased by consumers.

Trufresh is performing this recall after the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has determined that additional cantaloupes have possible Salmonella contamination. The updated Canadian Food inspection Agency Announcement can be found here: recalls-rappels.canada.ca Trufresh’s investigation has revealed that the above-listed order numbers may have been associated with the cantaloupes sold to Fruits et Légumes Gaétan Bono.

After eating 3 Famous Amos Chocolate Chip Cookies, I instantly felt nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. I am not allergic to peanuts and I am wondering if the chocolate or some chemical in the processing has something do do with it. I'm now wondering why the cookies are... See More fuzzy.
