“I made a poké bowl for lunch at 2PM out of quinoa salad, seaweed salad (like a huge bag of it but I put 3 or 4 scoops in), avocado, and GF teriyaki sauce. It tastes good but I was trying to figure out what made my stomach hurt 3 hours later, I think the seaweed salad is the culprit? I feel like tras... h!
Update: After having diarrhea for 5 hours, then trying to get some rest so I could sleep it off, I had the urge to run to the bathroom and go again. During that, I realized I needed to vomit, so I wrapped it up on the toilet and got on my knees to puke - I puked so hard that I was basically yelling, but what’s worse is, as I was puking I couldn’t stop my body from having diarrhea on the floor.
I’m a bit traumatized and I feel like a wild animal. ”

“I am not sh**ting you no pun intended. EVERY SINGLE TIME I EAT here. I trigger "stomach flu" symptoms. I have hershey squirt explosions & sometimes I FEEL like I have diarrhea, but when I try. Nothing comes out. I just get horrific cramping like someones twisting my innards & my stomach is making no... ises then of course an hour or two or whole night of waterfall purging vomiting. The worst is the diarrhea & vomit AT THE SAME TIME. I do not know what ingredients they use. I am 35 now and can no longer tolerate much cheese or dairy so I know it's part of my problem, but I get extremely sick at this location. But I guess I never learn my lesson SMH. I have it every couple of months or once a year, but I never fail to get sick. ”

“The FSIS announced the recall of approximately 6,896 pounds of ready-to-eat beef and veal broth and stock products by More Than Gourmet, Inc. an Akron, Ohio establishment, because the products may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically hydraulic oil. There have been no confirmed rep... orts of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
The ready-to-eat broth and stock items were produced on March 1, 2021, April 7, 2021 and April 8, 2021. The following products are subject to recall:
- 12-oz plastic squeeze bottle of KITCHEN ACCOMPLICE ORGANIC Beef BONE BROTH Concentrate and lot code MFGA21060A5613, MFGA21060B5613 & MFGA21098B5613 with Use by/Sell by date of 3/1/2023 & 4/8/2023.
- 16-oz. plastic cup of MORE THAN GOURMET Demi-Glace Gold CLASSIC FRENCH DEMI-GLACE and lot code MFGA21097A0205 with Use by/Sell by date of 4/7/2023.
FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

“There is no allergen information on the garlic sauce that we consumed without disclosure of the animal product. Additionally i didn't receive over half my food in my order (it happens, that part isn't a big deal) and on the tacos we did get, there had been cheese that I asked to be removed for dieta... ry reasons. We requested the incorrect and missing food be redelivered. They processed a redelivery. Part of our meal was for lunch today which was why it was so pertinent. I open the rice to pack today and there's a huge, intentional piece of chicken right on top. I already threw away the other food because there was cheese on it (again, intentionally put), but this is just ridiculous. Consuming animal products after refraining for years makes us very ill and today hasn't been any different because of the consumed garlic sauce. Because our order was messed up and we requested it to be fixed, we were intentionally poisoned, or at the very least our food was intentionally tampered with. I wont be returning to this location but im concerned about others who are. ”

“Two orders on April 6th & April 9th both from that location. April 7-9 feeling run down. On April 9th, food poisoning symptoms started 30 minutes after eating and lasted until April 13th.
On April 6th only I ate it and had a veggie #6 with no Mayo and added hot peppers, oil, and vinegar plus a... side of kickin’ ranch and large pickle.
On April 9th, I ate it and my seven year old ate it. He did not get sick. I had a veggie #6 with no Mayo and added hot peppers, oil, and vinegar plus a large pickle. My son had a slim #6 with just cheese, packet mustard, the pickles off my sandwich and part of the large pickle. On one of those two days I remember having Mayo on my sandwich even though I had ordered it without. ”

“I ate a chipotle burrito at around 12:30 Pm on 4/30/2021 and started noticing symptoms at around 2:30. I had diarrhea at around 5:30 and I started vomiting at 6. I threw up throughout the night until pretty much all of the food was out. It was just me who got sick. ”

“My son and I ate lunch there for Mother’s Day. I got a medium, he got a medium rare. My son started to feel nauseous during our meal, so he had all his food packed up. A few hours later, my son developed a 102 degree fever, with his nausea getting worse and he felt like passing out. I brought him to... the ER where he stayed until a little before midnight. I emailed the restaurant and got no response or even acknowledgement of receipt of my email.I frequent this place pretty regularly, I’ve been there about 3-4 times since they reopened in March. I have never had this experience before. However, it was a bit disconcerting that I received no response from staff regarding my son’s experience. ”

“CDC, public health and regulatory officials in several states, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are collecting different types of data to investigate a multistate outbreak of Salmonella Duisburg infections.
Epidemiologic and traceback data show that Jule’s cashew brie may be conta... minated with Salmonella and may be making people sick.
As of April 21, 2021, five people infected with the outbreak strain of Salmonella Duisburg have been reported from three states (CA, FL, TN). 2 people have been hospitalized and no deaths were reported. Illnesses started on dates ranging from February 1, 2021 to February 27, 2021.
It is possible that more recent illnesses may be reported in the outbreak because there is a period of time between when a person becomes ill and when the illness is reported to public health officials.
State and local public health officials interviewed people about the foods they ate in the week before they got sick. Of the five people interviewed, three (60%) reported eating Jule’s truffle cashew brie – the only common product identified. Two of these people reported eating the cashew truffle brie at the same restaurant on different days.
On April 22, California officials found Salmonella in samples of all varieties of Jule’s cashew brie collected from grocery stores. Investigators are working to confirm if the Salmonella bacteria found in these products is the same bacteria making people sick in this outbreak.
Jule’s Foods recalled all their products on April 22, including:
-Jule’s cashew brie (classic)
-Jule’s truffle cashew brie
-Jule’s black garlic cashew brie
-Jule’s artichoke spinach dip
-Jule’s vegan ranch dressing
CDC advises everyone not to eat, sell, or serve the recalled products. Jule’s Foods has stopped producing and distributing all of their products. Products were for sale online nationwide and in stores in many states.
