My nephew and I saw a film Saturday at 3 and ate popcorn. Within an hour we both had heartburn. 3 hours later, we were both vomiting, had diarrhea, headache, body aches and fever.

Popcorn Butter Causes Illness

We saw the joker last night and had buttered popcorn - about 6 hours later both my girlfriend and I were throwing up. We have been sick all night. We only ate home cooked meals that day so we really think the butter on the popcorn did this. The food we ate at home did not get us sick the day before.
