The Bob Evans restaurant on Fort Wayne's southwest side has been closed by the Fort Wayne-Allen County Department of Health after dozens of cockroaches were discovered.
During the inspection, cockroaches were found below a beverage station and on the cook line, scampering across the kitchen floor between the grill cooking line, and among clean plates under the kitchen line. The roaches were also discovered among food being prepared on the kitchen line, the report said. A can of roach spray was found on an ice machine, and more than 40 roaches were found on traps that had been placed on the floor under the kitchen line, the report said
