The CFIA announced the recall of Al-Rabih brand Tahini by Phoenicia Group Inc. due to possible Salmonella contamination. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.The recalled product is:
- Al-Rabih Tahini (100% Sesame) - Sesame Paste (450g), UPC: 7 70338 10053 5. Lot #157 29420 Best before 22/OC/19.
This product was distributed in Ontario, Quebec, possibly nationwide in Canada.
If you have the recalled product at home, please do not eat it, throw it away or returned it to the place of purchase.
