The CFIA announced the recall of Amara brand Organic Smoothie Melts – Carrot Raspberry by PataFoods Inc. dba Amara due to the potential presence of pieces of plastic. There have been no reported injuries associated with the consumption of this product.The recalled product is:
- Amara Organic Smoothie Melts – Carrot Raspberry, 23 g, UPC: 8 57822 00746 1, Best Before 07/05/2023, CR21186.
This product was distributed in Alberta, Ontario, possibly nationwide in Canada.
If you have the recalled product in your home, please do not eat it, throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
