Aptamil and Cow & Gate Milk Products recalled due to Cereulide Toxin in Northern Ireland

Danone is recalling several Aptamil and Cow & Gate First Infant Milk and Follow On Milk formula products sold in Northern Ireland due to the possible presence of cereulide toxin. The recall is an extension of the Aptamil First Infant Formula recall issued on 23 January 2026 and applies to products with updated best-before date ranges.AFFECTED PRODUCTS

The recall was initiated due to the possible presence of cereulide, a heat-stable toxin produced by some strains of Bacillus cereus, which can cause rapid-onset gastrointestinal symptoms.
