Beef Tallow Products recalled due to Produced Without Benefit of Inspection

King Tallow LLC, based in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, is recalling approximately 353 pounds of beef tallow. The recall is due to the product being processed, packaged, and labeled without federal inspection. The affected product was distributed to retail locations in Puerto Rico. The issue was discovered following an anonymous consumer complaint about the absence of a federal inspection mark. The recall was initiated on June 13, 2025, and is classified as a Class I recall.The recalled product is:
- Labeled as "GRASS FED Beef Tallow ARTISAN COOKING OIL by KING TALLOW"
- 10.5-ounce jars.
- These items do not bear the USDA mark of inspection.
- The beef tallow was produced from 2023 through May 2025.
