    It is common to get food poisoning from beef. E. coli is usually associated with undercooked ground beef food poisoning and the symptoms include nausea, vomiting, and bloody diarrhea. One of the most infamous E. coli outbreaks occurred in 1993 Jack in the Box beef patties that sickened 732 people.

Observed raw beef over shredded bag carrots in standing reach in cooler at prep area. Observed raw chicken stored over boxed bean sprouts in standing Electrolux cooler at prep area.

    - High Priority - Raw animal food stored over/not properly separated from ready-to-eat food. Observed raw chicken skewers stored over cooked sauce in standing Electrolux reach in cooler at prep area.

    - High Priority - Raw animal foods not properly separated from each other in holding unit based upon minimum required cooking temperature. Observed raw chicken, raw seafood scallops, wonton wraps, French fries imitation crab meats all nixed in together in standing reach in freezer next to dry storage area.

    - High Priority - Stop Sale issued on time/temperature control for safety food due to temperature abuse. Cooked/heated time/temperature control for safety food not cooled from 135 degrees Fahrenheit to 41 degrees Fahrenheit within 6 hours.     - comments: found cold tcs foods at improper cold holding temperatures in the customer grab-and-go cooler located near the front door. Sub sandwiches containing ham, turkey, and roast beef were found at temperatures ranging from 48f to 53f. Instructed to discard and denature said tcs foods and always maintain all cold-holding tcs foods at or below 41f. Priority violation 7-38-005. Citation issued. Food discarded. Refer to violation #21 for citation.

    33. Proper cooling methods used; adequate equipment for temperature control
    - comments: observed equipment not maintaining proper temperature. Noted temperature of the customer grab-and-go cooler located near the front door to be improper at 48f-55f where the sub sandwiches are located inside the unit (top and 2nd from top shelves on left side). All other areas of the cooler are operating at 41 and below. Cooler tagged - instructed to discontinue cooler use until re-inspected by cdph and maintain proper temperature of 41f and below throughout the entire unit. Priority violation 7-38-005. Citation issued.

    - comments: observed no recent inspection reports inside the pest control log book currently on site. The last report in the log book is dated 12/11/21. Instructed to have a pest control log book on site at all times with recent inspection reports (at least twice a year per code) and maintain. Priority foundation 7-38-020(c). Citation issued.
