    May 24, 2022 - Lettuce is one of the most common causes of food poisoning. Since the start of 2018, there have been over 10 major lettuce illness outbreaks involving E.coli. The 2 most recent involved packaged salad kits that sickened at least 30 and romaine lettuce grown in Salinas, CA that sickened at least 138.
