Recall notice

France

Biocoop, a French organic food retailer, has voluntarily recalled two of its raw milk cheeses due to a suspected contamination with Listeria, E. coli, and Staphylococcus. The products were distributed across France. The recall is expected to end on Monday September 16, 2024

The recalled products are:
The Entrammes Tradition au lait cru 29% MG
The Saint-Paulin au lait cru 29% MG
- Both weighing approximately 1.7 kg.
- All batches with a best before date of 20/09/2024 are included in the recall.
- The GTIN for these products is 3760205420115.
- Product to be kept in the refrigerator
- Packaging at the cut
- The products were sold from 22/05/2024 to 16/08/2024.

Biocoop has advised consumers not to consume the product and return it to where they purchased it.

In case you are experiencing E. coli symptoms such as watery diarrhea (often bloody), vomiting; stomach cramps; and mild fever, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
