A recall has been issued by the manufacturer for Brie Mariotte cheese due to the potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The affected products were distributed in various locations in Ireland.

AFFECTED PRODUCTS:

PRODUCT: Brie Mariotte
- Pack Size: 1kg
- Expiry Date: All best before dates up to and including 30/08/2025

PRODUCT: Brie Mariotte
- Pack Size: All pack sizes
- Expiry Dates: All batches and use-by dates sold between 08/06/2025 and 13/08/2025

The total quantity of the recalled product has not been specified.

The issue was identified through routine testing, and the recall was classified as a precautionary measure. The recall was initiated on August 15, 2025. There is no current evidence linking this recall to any ongoing listeriosis outbreaks.
