The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has issued a recall for Brookvale Pines Farm raw milk due to potential Listeria contamination. The product was distributed through the Brookvale Mercantile in Brentwood, New Hampshire. The issue was identified after a cow at the farm was diagnosed with a Listeria infection. The DHHS is working closely with Brookvale Pines Farm to conduct ongoing testing and ensure public safety.The recalled product is:
- Brookvale Pines Farm raw milk
- Sold in half-gallon containers.
- The affected batches carry a "best if used by" date through March 22, 2025.
- The product was last available for purchase on March 12, 2025.
- The farm has temporarily halted the sale of raw milk pending further testing.
Consumers who have purchased the product are advised not to consume it.
