Chicken Corn Dog Products recalled due to Possible Extraneous Matter Contamination

Foster Poultry Farms, LLC is recalling approximately 3,843,040 pounds of chicken corn dog products due to potential contamination with extraneous material, specifically wood pieces in the batter. These products were distributed nationwide in the United States to retail and institutional locations, including Department of Defense and USDA Commodity Foods donations.The recalled chicken corn dogs were produced between July 30, 2024, and August 4, 2025. They bear the establishment number “P-6137B” inside the USDA mark of inspection or on the packaging. The products were sold under various labels, and a detailed list is available on the FSIS website.
The issue was identified following a consumer complaint involving an injury, with multiple additional complaints received, five of which involved injuries. The recall was initiated on October 4, 2025.
